Support Frequently Asked Questions

1. What languages do you support?

A. We currently support U.K. and U.S English, US Spanish and German, spoken in different accents, dialects and by non-native speakers. Other European languages are in the pipeline.

Using Aurix technology to create a new language, Aurix needs to construct new phonetic models for that language. This process is significantly faster -- and more cost effective -- than a traditional speech-to-text system that would additionally require development of grammars for the new language.

2. Can I evaluate the Aurix phonetic speech search engine?

A. Our development SDK is a licensed application, as part of working with our prospective partners we are happy to provide access to the SDK.

3. I have installed the SDK and would like to receive an activation code, what do I do next?

A. Please start the Example GUI from the Aurix audio miner Examples folder, the application will prompt for your license key, if you have your activation code enter it here. If you do not have an activation code please email support@aurix.com with the displayed hardware fingerprint and a key will provided.

4. I am calling the Aurix audio miner development libraries from a web page and the page is timing out or does not display. Can I use the Aurix libraries in this way?

A. Yes. When using such a web application there may be an issue with interaction with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS). It is related to the use of the development libraries and IIS interacting with the desktop.
